Shingles Vaccine

Medicare-eligible Port Authority retirees and their eligible dependent spouses covered for prescription drug benefits under the Port Authority’s Retiree Prescription Drug Plan – Express Scripts (ESI): the shingles vaccine can be ordered by taking the signed prescription to a participating ESI pharmacy.

Retirees and eligible dependent spouses not Medicare eligible:

Their doctor should contact United Healthcare’s specialty pharmacy, PharmaCare at: 877-287-1234 to make arrangements to have the vaccine ordered and delivered to the doctor’s office.
