Subject: White House Pub - Ireland
Hi Paul,
I wanted to
reach out as I saw your note and patch in The White
House pub in Ireland last week. I traveled there
with my husband from the United States and was so
touched to see a tribute like that in another
country. I wasn’t sure if you ever got back to see
the way they showcased your letter and patch from
the Port Authority and had to share a photo I took.
It was such a nice way to honor those lost and their
families.
All the best,
Shannon

Dear Sir
I was in your establishment "The White House " last
month with my family (for our 50th Wedding
Anniversary ),
where I saw your beautiful memorial tribute to 9/11
& I told you I would send you a patch.
When I noticed that you didn't have Port Authority
Police shoulder patch among the ones you have on
display.
I thought that it was shame that the the ones
responsible for the safety of the World Trade
Center (a Port Authority Building ) was not
represented on the wall. The PA lost the most
Police there that day, 37 I believe.
I am a recipient on commendation medal of the 1st
world trade bombing in 1993, so that you may
understand my feelings. Lost a lot of friends
there.
I hope that you place this patch on the wall of
honor.
Thank you
Paul T. Heneghan
Retired PA Maint. Supervisor
PS This came from PA Police Officer Ray O' Brien who
was there.
