Jordan Andrew Miller, 56, of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born in Flushing, New York to Jack Miller & Linda (nee Gleason). Beloved son to stepfather Robert King. Devoted father to Jack Brodie Miller. Loving partner to Julie Shrey. Dear brother of Jennifer Miller and Jason Patric. Cherished nephew to Geraldine Chutuk. Adored uncle of Gus Schreiber and cousin to Mark Chutuk. Beloved Grandson to Genevieve Gleason. Graduated from Misericordia College in 1994. Proud finisher of 13 consecutive New York City Marathons. Jordan was a “Customer Service Rep” for the NY/NJ Port Authority for 13 years. He will be missed by so many.

His friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the passing of Jordan A. Miller on January 10. Jordan was a 12- year member of the agency family, serving on the front lines of customer service. Jordan joined the Port Authority on October 11, 2011, as a member of the Tunnels, Bridges & Terminals Department, taking on the role of Red Cap at the Midtown Bus Terminal. The Red Caps are among the critical, longstanding customer-facing roles in TB&T — responsible for assisting patrons as they arrive at and depart from the terminal. Red Caps are one of the first points of contact for the countless people who travel through the Midtown Bus Terminal. Jordan was admired by his TB&T/PABT colleagues who knew him to be a “Man of Routine” who was very dedicated to his job. He was also an avid runner, having completed the New York City Marathon for 13 consecutive years. The TB&T/PABT team will miss Jordan very much. Our thoughts are with them and Jordan’s family including his partner, Julie Shrey, and his son, Jack Miller. Please continue to keep Jordan and his family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.
