Bernard T. Gunsiorowski, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his daughter JoAnn's home, surrounded by his loving family. Bernie was born in Bayonne, NJ and resided there until 8 years ago when he moved to Florida. He was a Police Officer for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
Beloved Husband of the late Claire {Nee:Nolan}. Cherished Father of Thomas Gunsiorowski (Lisa), Michael Gunsiorowski (Erin), Barbara Pelliccio, JoAnn Marshall (Joe), the late Robert Gunsiorowski (Barbara), and Carolyn Schumann.
Devoted Grandfather of Clarisse, Ariana, Bridget, Michael Jr., James, Sharon, Craig, Kristen, Brianne, Anthony, Michael, Jacqueline, Nicole, Robert, Danny, Stephen, Joseph Michael and Joseph. Adoring Great-Grandfather of 7. Dear Brother of Margaret M. Gunsiorowski and 5 late Brothers. He is also survived by many loving Nieces & Nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14th from 3 – 6 PM at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, September 15th at 11 AM at Saint Andrew Church. Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
