Retired Lieutenant Alex Harvey, after a long struggle with several ailments, passed away yesterday afternoon at St. Francis hospice in Titusville Florida.
I spent quality time with Alex Friday at hospice. Quiet prayers and a final roll call recounting the brothers and sisters he is now with. He was lovingly attended continuously by his wife of 36 years Elaine Harvey (retired from Delta LGA). He will be remembered for his many qualities, especially his good humor regardless of the challenges before him. He is now in good hands and great company. Ret. Sgt. John Rienzie.
