Charlie was born and raised in Astoria Queens. He attended St. Francis of Assisi elementary school, Archbishop Molloy HS, where he played baseball, a sport he excelled at.
He attended college in Queens and joined the PAPD at a young age. He rose to rank of Lieutenant and served as Recording Secretary of the PBA and President of superior officers association. He retired in 1991.
Charlie raised his family with his former spouse in Rockville Centre. He was active in the Bayside Yankees baseball and the Rockville Centre little league. He is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind three children, Gene, Todd(Beth) and Elizabeth (Dan) and many grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 9:00am in St Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, NY.
