Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather
Robert “Bob” James Schuren, 84, of Woodland Park, passed away on November 7, 2021.
Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Nutley from 1952 to 2020 before moving to Woodland Park. Bob was the son of the late Henry and Anna (Laratta) Schuren.
Bob retired as an Electrical Supervisor, with the Port Authority of NY & NJ, he was a member of the Nutley Elks Lodge #1290 and a member of IBEW local #3 NYC.
Bob was predeceased by his brother Henry, Jr., and his sister Eugenia Schott. He leaves behind his loving wife Concetta (DeDolce) Schuren, his children Stephen, Russell, Staci and Nicole, Stepchildren Marlene Resciniti, Michelle Gizzi and John Gizzi, grandchildren Vincent, Michael, Nicholas, and Amanda Concetta Resciniti, Christian John Gizzi, Noelle Gizzi and Ryan Schuren. Great -Grandchildren Bianca, Liliana, Luca, and Delilah Resciniti.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 8:30am from the Browns funeral home Nutley NJ, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Bryd Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ at 9:30am.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 4-7pm.
Cremation will be private.
