In Memory of Pablo Artache

Pablo Artache, 57, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington with loving family by his side. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, son of the late Julio E. Artache Beltran and Carmen Lydia Bracero Ramos, he lived briefly in Elizabeth, NJ, prior to settling in Readington in 2004.

Pablo was a graduate of St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City with the Class of 1982. While at St. Peter’s Prep, Pablo wrestled and was captain of the football team. He attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ for two years and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Rho Chapter. He then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from NJIT in Newark, NJ. Pablo retired on December 15, 2020 after thirty-four years of dedicated employment as an operations engineer for the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey in Newark. He was a faithful man and attended services with his family at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges, NJ. He was an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop #1969 in Stanton, NJ; he loved to scuba dive, spend time at the beach, and play sports with his children especially soccer and baseball.

Besides his parents, Pablo was predeceased by his brother, Miguel A. Artache; and brothers-in-law, Gregory D. Crayton and William J. Roper.

Pablo is survived by his beloved wife of twenty years, Evelyn I. Lopez-Artache with whom he celebrated holy matrimony on November 9, 2001. He will be deeply missed by two loving children, Cristian A. Artache and Sydney M. Artache both of Readington; four dear siblings, Julio E Artache and his wife, Mary Lee, Ricardo Artache and his wife Lisa, Rosa M. and her husband Vincent Cona, and Diana Artache; and fourteen cherished nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, April 18 from 5-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 19 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges with Fr. Thomas J. Serafin, KCHS officiating. Committal words and disposition will follow at Ewing Crematory in Ewing, NJ.
