Angelo Bonura, 94,of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Carmella (née Lotito) and Angelo Bonura. Angelo was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 in Hasbrouck Heights and a member of the American Legion Post 1000. Before retiring, He was a police officer for the Port Authority of NY and NJ for twenty years, a member of the Port Authority of NY and NJ Retired Police Association and the Retired Police Association of the State of New York. Beloved husband of the late Madeline (nee DeLucia) Bonura. Devoted father of Raymond Bonura and his wife Carol, Jo Ann Bonura and Anna-Marie Alexander and her husband Mike. Dear brother of the late Lucyann Gugliotta. Loving grandfather of Kayla Alexander, Erica Kostmayer and her husband Chris, Crystal Sizemore and her husband Doug and Lance Alexander and his wife Brittney. Cherished great grandfather of Priscilla, Jake and Eli. Angelo is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Funeral from Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, October 2nd at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Sunday, October 1st from 2-6 PM at the funeral home.
