Antonio (Anthony) J. Carlesi, age 88 of Roscoe, NY passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023 from natural causes. Anthony was born on February 18, 1935 to Giuseppe (Joseph) and Annita L. Carlesi in Queens, NY. After graduating Chaminade High School (1952), he went on to study at Villanova.
He graduated from Villanova (1956) with a degree in Engineering and started his first job at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, kickstarting a 40 year, lifelong passionate career and rising to the title of Senior Civil Engineer.
Anthony is predeceased by his wife, Paula W. Carlesi, his parents and brother, Louis J. Carlesi. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Maureen Carlesi, niece Noelle, her husband Gene and their son Bailey Pourbaix. He is also survived by his long-time close friends and extended family, Lorna, Jack, Alex, Liam and Trevor Oberlander. Our thanks and gratitude to all his dear friends and neighbors who looked after him in his later years.
