Edmund Parks, 81, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at home. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and has resided in Jackson Twp. for 20 years.
Edmund was a proud United States Veteran serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, where he relished his service time in Japan.
He was employed by the Port Authority of NY & NJ for 31 years, as a structural foreman prior to his retirement in August of 1995.
Edmond was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp. He was also a member of the Bocce Club at Westlake Country Club, loved to travel and was a car enthusiast.
Edmund was predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Marie Parks and by his sisters-in-law, Barbara Parks and Patrica Parks. He is survived by his daughters, Tracey Basile and her husband, Ralph of Marlboro, NJ, and Dana Introna and her husband, Leo of Little Ferry, NJ; his grandchildren, Talya, Isabella and Daniella; his brothers, Richard Parks of Stuart, FL and Robert Parks of Manchester Twp., NJ; and by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. His Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 9:45 AM at the church.
