Martin Dunne died on October 24, 2023. He was a retired PAPD Police Officer PAPD.
Martin was the loving husband of the late Sally Dunne, loving brother of the late Philip, Patricia and Thomas, beloved father of Thomas and Brian, and loving father-in-law to Patricia and Theresa (TEDDY).
Poppa was treasured by his five (5) grandchildren Meaghan, Shannon, Caitlin, Kathleen and Matthew. Martin was thrilled and cherished his granddaughter's Husband's Ryan Ricker (Meaghan), Karl Becker (Shannon), Jonah Yoon (Caitlin).
Loving great grandfather of five (5) Johanna, Addison, Kelsie, Olivia and Colin.
Martin will be remembered at the Port Authority of NY and NJ Police Department, British Airways, The Long Island Arena and the Nassau County Coliseum
A visitation for Martin will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Vernon C Wagner, 655 Old Country Rd., Plainview, NY. A Mass of Christian burial at St. Pius X RC Ch. 270 Washington Ave. Plainview,NY will occur Monday, October 30, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. An interment at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing NY will occur Monday, October 30, 2023 at 12:15 PM.
