Winifred Dalton Kelly was born in New York City November 5th, 1929, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Dalton, sister of the late Margaret Dalton Reilly, aunt of 8 nephews and 1 niece and numerous grand nieces and nephews. A member of the Rosary Alter Society of St Pio of Pietrelcina Roman Catholic Church in Lavallette. Winnie was a member of the Jersey Shore Irish American Club, ardent supporter of her alma mater, Cathedral High School in New York City, and member of their Alumnae Association. Winnie was also a member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation – Tradewinds Chapter.
In her working career, Winifred was the President of North of Hatteras Weighing, Inc. from 1977 until 1992 and retired from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1978. She lived in New York City until 1986, with a residence in Ocean Beach, Dover Township since 1963.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 19, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 NW Central Ave. Seaside Park, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Lavallette, NJ. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
